Coodes' Private Client Department is regarded as one of the most established, respected and extensive in the Westcountry. From individuals to charitable and other trusts, Coodes represent the interests of a wide range of clients, giving the department a great breadth of experience and understanding.

David James, based at Liskeard, heads the department with a team extending across the firm's seven offices. The team includes members of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners, and devotes significant time to keeping abreast with current developments in a constantly changing area of the law.
